My story changed my why ...
Life has a way of teaching us lessons we never asked to learn. Loss teaches you about the fragility of life, everything can change in a second. For ever. LOSS.
My Story Changed My WHY
Life has a way of teaching us lessons we never asked to learn.
I have experienced deep loss. I have experienced profound joy. I know what it feels like to have dreams unfold differently from the way you imagined. I also know what it feels like to welcome hope again. Those experiences changed me. They taught me that life comes with no guarantees. Everything can change in a single moment. That truth doesn't make me fearful.
It makes me intentional.
I no longer want to build things simply because they are successful. I want to build things that matter.
Education was never just about education
When I first became a teacher, I thought my job was to teach children. Now I know it was always much bigger than that. Education is about people. It's about confidence. It's about belonging.
It's about helping someone believe in themselves before the world gives them a reason to. Every child is connected to a teacher. Every teacher is connected to a family. Every family shapes a community.
When we strengthen one part of that circle, we strengthen all of it.
Why iMom Collective?
Because motherhood was never meant to be lived in isolation. I believe mothers don't need another voice telling them they're not enough. They need community. They need encouragement. They need honest conversations. They need spaces where they can breathe, laugh, ask difficult questions and realise they are not alone.
iMom Collective exists because I believe connected mothers raise confident children.
What I believe:
I believe one supported mother can transform an entire family. I believe conversations create change. I believe kindness is powerful. I believe learning never stops. I believe community heals what isolation cannot.
Most of all ...
I believe people flourish when they feel seen, valued and understood.
My WHY? ... My why is simple.
I want to leave moms in business stronger than what I found them.
Whether I meet you in a social setting, at a workshop, over coffee, through a blog post or in a conversation, I want you to leave believing a little more in yourself than you did before we met. That is what someone once did for me. And because I believe that when one life is strengthened, it quietly strengthens many others.
This isn't just the beginning of a business.
It's the continuation of a life's calling.
And that is why I do what I do.
